Reunion Highlights
Our big weekend begins with the Class of 1958 Golden Key Luncheon on Friday, May 16. This is a special lunch, just for the Class of 1958. Provost and Interim President David O. Robbins and Chair of the OWU Board of Trustees, Kathe Law Rhinesmith '64 will welcome us back to campus for our 50th reunion.
Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., classmate and current-year recipient of the Distinguished Achievement Citation, Rep. David Hobson '58 will conduct and Alumni College Session discussing his outstanding career "inside the beltway."
Friday night, after the Blues & Barbeque Kick-Off event, we'll gather in the RW Corns Building for an after-dinner social.
Saturday, May 17 we'll congregate in University Hall and process into Gray Chapel to "Pomp and Circumstance" to receive our Golden Key Diplomas. Immediately following the Golden Key Diploma ceremony, we participate in the Recognition Ceremony and watch as classmate David Hobson receives his Distinguished Achievement Citation. Also receiving the DAC are: Jay Ankeney '43, Richard North Patterson '68, and Carol Scott '53.
Our Golden Key Reunion dinner will take place Saturday evening in the Benes Rooms of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. Mark Shipps '70, Vice President of University Relations will be our guest speaker.
