Reunion Highlights
Our big weekend begins with the Class of 1959 Golden Key Luncheon on Friday, May 15. This is a special lunch, just for the Class of 1959. President Rock Jones and Chair of the OWU Board of Trustees, Kathe Law Rhinesmith '64 will welcome us back to campus for our 50th reunion.
Friday night, after the Blues & Barbeque Kick-Off event, we'll gather in the RW Corns Building for an after-dinner social.
Saturday, May 16, we'll congregate in University Hall and process into Gray Chapel to "Pomp and Circumstance" to recieve our Golden Key Diplomas. Immediately following the Golden Key Dimploma ceremony we will participate int eh Recogonition Ceremony and watch classmate Dr. William Hsiao '59 and Phillip Meek '59 recieve their Distinguished Achievement Citations. Also receiving the DAC are: Alice Moore Batchelder '64 and Judge Susan Phillips Read '69.
The Parade of Classes will begin at noon and end in Branch Rickey Arena at the All Alumni Luncheon. The afternoon will feature Alumni College sessions (more information to come in March).
Our Saturday evening festivities will kick off with the re-dedication of the Memorial Gate. This is a chance to celebrate as classmate for reaching inspiring heights of giving. Our gift is the new "face" of the Sandusky Street entrance to Ohio Wesleyan's academic campus. Directly following the dedication we'll come together for our reunion photo.
The evening will cap off with our 50th reunin dinner in teh Benes Rooms of the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center. Many great plans have been made to ensure that this will be our best reunion yet!
