Due to the large number of alumni and guests expected to attend Alumni Weekend (almost 1,000 in 2007), advance reservations are a MUST. We cannot guarantee tickets or accommodations for alumni and guests who arrive at the University without reservations for class events, general events or on-campus housing. Please complete and return the Alumni Weekend Reservation Form, advising us when and for which events to expect you. If your reservation is received by May 1, a confirmation notice will be sent to you. Reservations for all on-campus housing and meals (including class reunion dinners) must be made using the Alumni Weekend registration form. The reservation deadline is May 9. The Office of Alumni Relations will not be able to accept reservations via the phone, email or Web after May 14.
Hamilton-Williams Campus Center (HWCC) will be the official Alumni Weekend Registration and Information Center. All alumni and guests must pick up their registration materials -- including meal confirmation, name tag, weekend schedule, campus map, and much more -- in HWCC. Alumni and guests staying in OWU residence halls should check in first at HWCC and then proceed to their assigned residence hall. Guests arriving without advance reservations should visit the On-Site Registration Center, also located in HWCC.

The Admission Office in Slocum Hall will be open Friday and Saturday for visitors. Prospective student visits must be scheduled in advance by calling 740-368-3020. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the Alumni Admission Office at 740-368-3045 or owuapart@owu.edu.
Dress for the weekend is casual, but the weather in central Ohio is often unpredictable. It could be cold and rainy, or we could have a heat wave! Saturday evening events tend to be more formal, and standard business/dinner dress is appropriate.
A general registration fee of $20 per registration is charged to help cover costs of the weekend for which there is no additional charge, such as on-campus transportation, on-campus entertainment, rental of tables and chairs, etc. A confirmation letter will be sent for reservations received by May 1. The reservation deadline is May 9. The Office of Alumni Relations will not be able to accept any reservations via telephone, e-mail, or the Web after May 14.
Refund requests received in writing by the Alumni Relations Office before May 1 will be granted in full. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate refunds after that date.
Fraternity and Sorority Receptions
Many fraternities and sororities will be open for visitors during designated hours throughout the weekend. Most are planning open house receptions on Saturday afternoon. Please check the final weekend schedule for specific times and locations.
Don't lose out on your chance for Alumni Weekend 2008 merchandise! There is an embroidered, 100% cotton, pique knit white golf shirt, available in men's sizes M - XL ($25); a silk-screened Alumni Weekend t-shirt, available in men's sizes M - XL. Also available will be a classic Alumni Weekend cotton twill baseball hat for $10, a red Alumni Weekend umbrella for $10; an insulted hot/cold red acrylic tumbler available for $10, and an acrylic, flip-top water bottle for $10. Each memento has the official OWU Alumni Weekend logo emblazoned on it. Reserve yours now on the Alumni Weekend Reservation Form.
Racquetball, tennis, handball, and squash courts in Branch Rickey Arena will be available on a first-come, first-served basis Friday and Saturday. Guests must provide their own equipment. Access to local public golf courses is also available. Advance tee times for golf are recommended, and guests must make their own reservations.
If you require special assistance or accommodations during Alumni Weekend, please contact the Alumni Relations Office in advance to make arrangements. If you plan to use on-campus food service and require special meals, please note your request on the Alumni Weekend Reservation Form.
Former Ohio Wesleyan faculty and staff living in the Delaware area will be our guests at the Blues and Barbeque Kick-Off event on Friday night in the Hamilton-Williams Campus Center, Benes Rooms. Retired faculty and staff are eager to see former students and hope you will join them for this special evening.
Port Columbus International Airport Transportation
An airport shuttle to and from Port Columbus International Airport is available. Please plan your flights with the following schedule in mind, as no exceptions can be made:
Departing Port Columbus for OWU
Friday, May 16 » 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 17 » 10 a.m., Noon, 2 p.m.
Departing OWU for Port Columbus
Sunday, May 18 » 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m.
Advance reservations are required, and payment for the airport shuttle must be made at the time of registration using the Alumni Weekend Reservation Form. The fee is $15 per person one way or $25 per person round trip. Please indicate on the form which shuttle(s) you will be taking, and complete your airline/flight information. Passengers will be met inside Port Columbus International Airport at the information desk on the baggage claim level. The deadline for shuttle reservations is May 9.
